Leather Luster, Inc. was founded by Mr. Paul Paquet in 1965 in the state of New York USA. Mr. Paquet was a New York State Trooper and spent a considerable amount of time polishing his gun belt and boots. He decided there must be a better way to do this without so much time and effort. Thus, Mr. Paquet started experimenting to find a solution to this problem.
In the fall of 1965, Mr. Paquet developed Leather Luster. In the past 30 years, Leather Luster has grown from an idea of supplying local law enforcement, fire and rescue officers, professional umpires, referees, sports officials and military personnel, expanding to a worldwide market. There is no other product like it.
